Is it worth it?

Well was thinking of trading up my 2011 pro 155 for a 2012 pro 163 taking advantage of polaris 1000 dollar offer from snowchecking last year. My sled has 1200 miles on it. With Polaris $1000 it would cost me $1800 to trade up...do you think it is worth it?

I did a an advanced search for keyword "trade" in the PRO-RIDE section.

Came up with these.

Poo, since you want a longer track..it maybe worth trading, but, if you kept yours, bought a 163 track and rails(I have buddies who have put 163's under their 155 dragons without changing anything but rails and track..) I think you would be money ahead........

trade

I would trade - with the 600.00 accessories, a new belt, and new warranty I thought it was a good deal. I liked how you could choose your seat this year.

I'm staying with the '11 155 assault, allready has a four year warranty and I switch from 162 skid and track for early lite snow to my 153 Powerclaw in the later spring conditions. Best of both worlds for me.

The way I look at it is your sled has depreciated in value that much anyway, do you want to eat it now or later? Factor in longer track, extra year warranty, fresh zero miles, seems like it would make sense. That's how I justified it anyhow...but honey, were LOSING money if I don't trade.
