is it worth it? help.

hey im 16 years old and im looking at buying my frist sled and a polaris 800 edge or gen 2 sounds like a great sled to start. Will it be worth saving some money and buying one because im worried about finding parts and things like that. i hear they accept mods very well. i ride mostly backcountry. i do like to hillclimb if its a safe hill....what i mean is if theres a big space at the bottom to come down to and things like that. ive already been riding for a good 3 years mostly on arctic cat. but there all my dads sleds, id like to have my own! so, will it be a smart decision to buy one? anything will help. thanks

yes

They are very capable, easy to work on and accept mods easily. I'd personally go Edge RMK, year depends on how much you want to spend. But the upgrades you will end up doing means get an '04/05 or even an '03/4 Vertical Escape.
Rebuild the clutch or buy a new one, install new weights if worn and new springs. Jet for your elevation, clutching goes with that as well. Enjoy.
