Is it too much to ask SKI-DOO?

Dating myself a bit, but I bought a shiny new X back in 98. Three motors later I was told I was riding it wrong, using the wrong oil, shouldnt have clutched it...etc. I was assigned a customer service rep. from Canada that I was supposed to deal with directly. She kept telling me it was my own fault and I should quit calling. Looked into our local Lemon Law and made a case, weak, but a case. Long story short, little over a year of phone calls, letters, and bs threats, they gave me a new 2000 700. Great sled, rode skidoo until 02 before I moved on. Hope you stick with it, dealer is a big help if they are worth a darn. :beer;

I have to rant so please excuse me...... three years ago i buy an 04 Ski-doo owned by a 60 year old man..450 perfect miles on it. I ride it less than 200 miles and the crank goes. I put a new short block in it and finish the season. Two years ago I buy a 2007 rev 800 R summit X. It has 600 miles on it and a Brand New motor in it. I get three hundred miles on it and on presidents day last year my motor blows...crank again.. They warrantee it with a 2008 motor, and I finish the year. I am at 400 miles on the new motor and Today of all days ... Presidents day MY FREAKING CRANK GOES !!!!!!!...

Is it too much to ask when I pay $8,000.00 for a sled to expect that the motor will hold up.more than one year!!!!!! Can someone tell me if my 07 Rev is out of warranty, but I have a 2008 motor less that a year old.. Will ski doo warranty this ???? Or am I supposed to bend over and take it up the tail pipe????

Any good deals on an M8? I need to know of

That's some bad luck but I think buying used may not be the best thing for you anymore! There are lemons all over the snow belt so it's simply a crap shoot on what you will end up with.
