Greenwater open now

Spoke with R+R Grooming today, They have plowed Rd 70 to the new snowpark two lanes wide. (new snowpark is at the first set of bathrooms where the new road takes off to the right. He has also got the groomer down from it's "resting place" and groomed one pass down. He will be back on normal schedule as of now.
He said it was very soft, so it's going to whoop up real quick, especially on the road in and out. And with the road problems at many of the other areas there may be extra people trying to find somewhere to ride.
Parking is going to be one side of the road down from the turn-around back toward 410. Don't park in the turn around area, you will get a ticket. The Forest Service was going to try and have one or two people around to help out with traffic control, but only for a few hours on the weekend mornings. Some of the local clubs are also going to try and help with traffic, so if someone asks you to stop and wait for a batch of trucks to come out, please do, otherwise you will be backing up as far as you drove in.

Need to THANK THE VOLUNTEERS

Anybody that rides Greenwater needs to thank all the volunteers who went up and spent their time and used their equipment to get the road cleared - for all of us. As special thanks to father and son (don't have names) and Sumner Tractor and loaning a piece of equipment for tackleing the job too, and JetJohnson for coordinating the initial clean-up, Ski Bum for being our grooming coordinator. THANK YOU EVERYONE - Great Job & Team Work!:face-icon-small-hap

Thanks-Icy Too!

Thanks to everyone who helped. Much appreciated.

Rode greenwater up to the cabin late last night, Maybe soft durring the day but rock hard at night, make sure you have ice scratchers if you go while its frozen. The whole place is one big sheet of ice!!!! Be careful.
