Now why would anyone make the leap from "seeing a trailer with stickers on it" to "I wonder if they are testing turbo'd mtn sled"
WTF?
LOL
Why would someone see a meteor and think that aliens are coming?

Brett does Mtn testing for AC. He has a company called Snowmobile Research Service. Maybe some product testing or photo shoots who knows.
But on the turbo thing, our local dealer recieved a fax from AC stating the the Backcountry Edition sled is with Boondocker and Burandt and not a factory thing. Soooo are they telling the truth. HCR maybe with a turbo? I am getting out the WIGI board to find out these answers. My dog knows but will not tell me.
jeezus bro just a lil curiosity. im sorry that i heard that there maybe a ac turbo mtn sled comming out i was just asking if anyone knew anything.. looked kind of an offical gig i guess your the almighty bad@ss around here so i should p.m you and make sure i am allowed to post question.. thanks for your input on my questions...
BTW, don't take my first comment so seriously. It's just the internet.
Yeah they were at Togwotee with trailers and dynos, sleds, and A$$HOLES to go with it. My buddy just bought an 08 arctic cat......first arctic cat purchase and had been doing 2 days of riding. It had a bog in it on the bottom end so we stopped by the trailer on the way back the 2nd night about 6:00.....they were out chatting and looking at sleds. We asked them if they could tell us anything about his cat 1000 or if they had heard of any issues with a bog.
He looked right at us and said "No I can't.....I don't have time!" Oh really, they were just standing around doing nothing. I mean he didn't even make an attempt or nothing. Just told us to get lost. Made the rest of the arctic cat owners in our group real proud. Think I'll stick with skidoo a little longer.
I'm pretty familar with the Arctic Cat/Togwotee photo shoot. The guys you see running around, standing around and riding around for the most part are marketing and advertising guys. I think for most of them it is a challenge to change a belt and check the oil. The other thing is this is supposed to be a super top secret deal with the next year(2010) model sleds and if something leaks out some of these guys could lose their jobs. I agree it doesnt take much to be polite but they get hamered for info everywhere they go every time they stop, and I'm sure it gets old. Last year in November Polaris(my ride of choice) was testing at Togwotee for about six weeks and we got the same treatment from them every weekend. I'm pretty sure it's not in their job description to act that way it's just how they come across so people take the hint and leave them alone.
well then they should wear coveralls that have printed "im stupid" and "im with stupid and dummer yet"...then have a trouble shooting flip chart for the sleds that they can direct people to...because like Sandman says...stay out of the public areas if you can not be civil...otherwise be civil and truthful and say that you don;t have a clue but offer some sort of respectable alternative....THAT IS MARKETING AT ITS BEST..THAT IS THE TOP SECRET THAT ALL THESE OUTFITS SHOULD PROTECT..!!!!!..anyway it just goes with the territory...take my 13 grand ...if i see a trailer im taking a peek and maybee have a question..
