Is anyone else tired of the complaining about the 2009 sled colors?

Ive been looking around at the 2009 models and on every thread there are people complaining about colors and how if the company made it this color they would by it and blah blah blah.

I guess it just seems crazy to me to complain about something so rediculously easy to change when you should be making your 10,000 dollar decision based on quality and personal fit and needs.

Since when did sledding become so fashionable?

I think its just an excuse, nobody wants to admit their wife/girlfriend wont let them get a new sled so there all blaming it on the color - My doesnt ski doo look good in blue To each his own

personally i think 11000 dollars of my hard earned money should give me some say as to what color my toy should be. don"t you what color is your rig? did the color help in the decision of your purchase or did you buy an ugly colored vehicle purely for its quality personal fit and needs????

if people are serious about not liking the color i guess they have never heard of a custom paint shop, I say deal with it. If your ridin hard you should have snow covering the color dec through feb march some places.lol

All the brands got to be the same like cat have black orange green every year and change the decals.. i dont even no why manufacteurs even try changing the colors a lot of people wine about it i think they should offer it in primer and they give you a free can of paint when you fork 12 grand over .... only once have i seen a post on every one agreeing the 2006 summitx looked good (red grey) polaris is offering a new limited edition sled its called the magical dragon and it comes in the color of the rainbow and comes with one tub of lube if you snow check it by april 15th...

Agreed. The companies are not doing themselves much good by picking poor color schemes, but when you go to by a car you find a model you like first, then pick a color because they have so many more to choose from.

All im saying is i didnt like my wite hood, so i traded with a guy in town on here and it was simple and didnt cost me a cent. If someone doesnt like the white ande blue skidoo scheme, then trade for whatever because i know someone will want them.

Theres no reason buying a sled because it looks cool

Once people get a chance to ride em you will start to see whining.
I can't wait to see what happens when a sled starts to stand out. The bashing and complaining will REALLY start then.

As for sled colors.
Who cares. All of my sleds end up tree sap colored anyway.

In the good ole days when a sled cost 7000.00 i didnt really GAF how it looked , how the FnF was or if i had to swap tracks and do a lil work to make it the the way i wanted. Now Im older and lazier and a new sled is going to cost me at least 15,000 taxes in. And Yes i do GAF what it looks like and how it works. Sorry if I over expect. sj

I personally like the 09s. yes, even the blue doo! im not to found of the standard or the SP Cat graphics for the M-Series. the LE for the M-Series is the best i think. All the other Cat models i really like. I like even the new colors/graphics for the SkiDoos. Its all personal preference of course but, if you dont really like the graphics....take a heat gun and take them off.

Overall performance and dealer support and numbers 1a and 1b for me. If they have a great color or graphics scheme..... BONUS!

You also get more choice in colors with cars as millions are sold and the cost is MUCH higher. Snowmobile sales is a pretty small market in the grand scheme of things.
