Is anyone changing the gear ratio on thier nytro mtx's

Alan Ulmer makes them for the reverse chain case. I have one coming, though I think they are still a week out at the least... Only like 20 bucks more then the yamaha bottom one, and it includes the bearing and all...

Guess I will see how it works....

I have the non reverse model I will have to see if they have one, not sure there is enough room for one though.

I think they make a 43 for the non reverse models... Check the table they have for chain length and sprockets used by selecting gear on the left. Or just give him a call..

Team Ind HYVO 18T/40 on stock motor, 153", AAEN Exhaust. Put my first 50 miles on it last weekend. Love it, turns the stock sled into whole different animal. Have to watch the tension closely given that feedback, but definitely a dramatic improvement over stock.

Don't you guys worry about chain breakage with the smaller sprocket? I know in the past running that small of a top gear because of the tight circle it was hard on the chain. Just curiuos.

I think that was a problem on skidoos with the 13 chain...

The 19 top isn,t a problem on the chain, I ran 1000 boosted miles last year, I replaced it this year just to be safe.

They were having problems getting the part from Yamaha I believe, there was several run arounds with wrong part (Two week delay, then Yamaha sent the 19T I believe) and when it came down to the Team Industries gear I didn't really question it.
