IQR or similar throttle block?

Is the IQR throttle block a two piece setup?

What other options are there for throttle for my Pro?

Looking for something that accepts the Polaris throttle lever, and not really looking to spend a ton. TSS will be bypassed.

Seen RSI options, and heard FTx has a good one, but hard to get ahold of. Just need something solid for the Polaris lever is all....

Where the heck can a guy order one? All the places I see online doesn't have an option to "add one to cart".

Never mind! Found em listed under a different year. And HOLY COW! $67 for the front piece and $57 for the rear! F that.

Dennis Kirk had the basic RSI throttle block for $89. Still spendy, but ended up ordering one and will have it Wed.

There is a complete one on Ebay but they want $120. It does come with the flipper, thumb warmer pad, and throttle cable attached, though. I'll dig the link out.

http://www.ebay.com/itm/281430098643 (currently 2 available)

There are rarely good deals on them as there is still a pretty good demand for them even though there must be XX? thousand of them out there. Essentially the same block as the PRO-X sleds ran.

If you need / want a TSS Bypass; PM me

Thanks LH!

I've got a few TSS resistors I've made. :)

Never ran one constantly though, just keep with incase for diagnosing. Rode one day with it installed, no problems. You been running them full time problem free?

Yep, build my own (no bigger than the connector). Much cleaner than what most do (remove, tape and tyrap the switch). Do run a tether religiously just to be safe, should the throttle cable ever freeze / stick.

Been running the Polaris billet throttle block with my custom tweaks since the PRO-X days. Radius all the remaining square corners with round over bit on my router table and put a lightening hole in the front side and radius that edge too. TI bolts, and the PCC Kevlar / CF flipper since he came out with it.

Good to know. I figd I'd tape n tuck and carry my resistor as a solid get home option. Maybe I'll just run it tho. Mines also just the size of the plug. Soldered and snugged a resistor inside the factory style connectors. Was gonna make a whole bunch of em, but someone started selling them cheaper than my cost and time allows.

i built my tss into a tether and it has worked without a hitch 4 seasons now!

just swapped the stock switch in a stock tether for the tss.

i do some guiding and its great to be able to pull the tether and still have the sled idle when lifting out people who got stuck!

Some nice ones are the CR Racing throttle blocks .
$85 Canadian ( $60 USD as of today)

Rounded corners, well done IMO.

RSI Racing makes some nice two piece blocks.
A heated version, and non-heated.

Both will accept the stock kill switches... though I've had issue with front mounted switches getting switched of by branches. RSI's block with their own switch... has the switch shrouded and is a momentary-on switch... which minimizes unintentional turn-offs.

Retains the Stock TSS switch if needed.

I've purchased the heated version... nice looking and great quality.
