IQ Sidehiller 2 on Edge RMK

A couple seasons back I purchased a set of Sidehiller 2 skis to replace the skis on my 04 RMK. They did not come with mounting hardware, rubbers bolts etc. I went to install them the other day with the stock (Edge) ski rubbers and it seems as though they are too small/not high enough. The skis are very loose with the rubbers installed.

Has anyone installed IQ skis on their Edge? Surely someone has. Is it as simple as getting the IQ ski rubber? Chances are my dealer does not have them in stock, so I'd kinda like to know before I order them. Could/Should I just make a shim to go under the edge rubbers?

Tried a search and didn't come up with anything, hence my post. Any help is appreciated.

You can go to an online parts store such as Babbitts sport center or others to compare the ski part #s, and also the #s for the rubbers. It shouldn't be hard to find out if there is a diff.

LOL thanks, I'm not thinking straight. I've done that several times in the past. I have no idea why I didn't go ahead and do that.
I've since looked it up and yes there is a different part number for the ski rubber. The ski's are the same though. Hopefully the IQ rubber will solve my problem.

Anyone have first hand experience before I place the order?

I have done a little ski/rubber swapping myself. I have an IQ and Edge. I put grippers on the edge with my rubbers. If memory serves, I think the 06 IQ RMK used the same rubbers as the 09 sled I took the grippers off from.

Stupid mistake. The rubbers that I thought were stock, were actually another set that I had for my C&A's. Amazingly though, my dealer had the stock rubbers on hand. That's what I get for being in such a rush.
