ipod?

I've been buying "Sansa" 4 gigs from Buy.com for $45 (refurbished)
Seem to get the job done pretty good.
Around 900 (give or take) songs on each.

I bought an ipod shuffle last year for sleddin, and it works great although I wish I would have bought the nano. The problem is I have to take my gloves off, take it out of my pocket and pause it, or turn the volume down whenever I wanna talk to someone, and we often pull up beside each other to decide which trail to take, or just to BS while waiting for the rest in the group to catch up.

So this year I am buying a nano, because timex has a watch that will act as an ipod nano remote control, so I can simply hit pause on the watch without diggin the ipod out. So I would recommend a nano for this reason, since the timex watch does not work with the shuffle

I've had 4 iPods (paid for 2 of them) and will not be getting another one.

Will be moving to the Archos most likely.
