Anybody found a good way to control your ipod while riding?

iPod Controller
the text is wrong on the web page. It will be fixed soon but the web guy hasn't changed it yet. This is what the text should say:
Features : This iPod remote allows you to change tracks, pause, play and adjust the volume. It is designed to be used with our iPod Controller ready jackets and jerseys. The remote control works with all dock-able iPods. It does not work with the iPod Shuffle. The iPod Controller is sold separately from the jacket
My tunes are controlled with my right thumb!
are you guys coming out with jerseys then?
I want to hear my buddies on the radio if they need help, want to hear the sounds of the mountains, want to hear my sled engine to ensure that it's running right, etc.
Hmm, I don't even come remotely close to having that problem. It is very easy to adjust the volume so you can still hear your sled or pause to talk to riding buddies when it is on your sleeve. I guess you better not drive a car with the radio on or have the TV on at home for fear you might miss a phone call. Believe me, with the right equipment it is awesome. Just like anything else in life.
How can you hear if you buddies are on the radio needing help if your sled is running anyway?
timex makes a watch that will control your ipod nano or classic wirelessly, thats what I am going to try out next. Just hit the pause button on the watch beats digging out the player from my pocket and hitting pause every time we stop.
I rode one day with my music and realized that you are totally unaware of your surroundings when riding with music in your ears. I want to hear my buddies on the radio if they need help, want to hear the sounds of the mountains, want to hear my sled engine to ensure that it's running right, etc.
I love music probably more than most as I was raise with a father who was in a band and that was my life! But because of all the things I outlined, I won't ride with music again.
