My wife bought me an iPad 2 over the weekend, anybody know any cool things you can put on these badboys..... besides angry birds?

thanks in advance

i got some zombie game where ya run em over....

other than a few games, mines just got movies, music, youtube and a crappy web browser...lol

do the upgrade to iOS 5 and you will see that Mac is not the most stable platform on the planet :)

some nominally nice enhancements...

Love my Ipad2, its value is totally on how you use it, I use it for travelling, and not having to bring my laptop...as well as watching videos on flights etc.

We have more stuff (games/puzzles/etc) on the iPad for our 2 year old then anything....

For me it is basically a handy web surfer for the couch. We have a bunch of movies on it and the only game I play on it is words with friends.

Supposedly with the new IOS you can link it up with Apple TV and use the iPad to control games on your TV. I'll probably look into that soon.

I also agree with MTdream - this upgrade was a pain. It finally took on my third try after I went to the command line on our iMac to enter a cache clear command. IMO that is BS on both sides (PC and iPad) - we bought the iMac and iPad in May and have everything updated/upgraded with the latest software. Looks like apple needs Steve back to kick some a$$ in the quality control department.....

thanks guys, it definitely is a cool device, the more i play around with it, the more things i'm finding it can do.

Our Ipads are for our kids.

I play "words with friends"....surf snowest between rounds.

the other 500 bazillion apps are for my kids. 5 and 7.

Great for road trips or travel. netflicks, HBO2go etc etc....

Words with Friends, hanging with Friends, Angry Birds, Fantasy Sports (ESPN), ESPN score app, Sudoku2, IMDB Trivia, Denver Post, ABC, 9News, Star Walk[/B, Banking apps, Direct TV, Sunday Ticket, Around me, Google, Tapa Talk, Amazon, CoCameras, CO Snow

those are a few apps I have. The bold ones are pretty neat:
IMDB Trivia, just a movie trivia game that is a good time killer
Star Walk, app that shows you the stars currently above your head based on your locat, also shows satellites, meteors, up coming stuff, etc.
Direct TV: allows me to set my DVR from my phone.
Sunday Ticket: Allows me to watch almost any NFL game from my phone
Tapa Talk: Must to use for online forums likes Snowest. Makes browsing much easier
CoCameras: Colorado road conditions, also allows you to view highway cameras, see traffic speeds, etc
CO Snow: Colorado Ski area snow reports. Good to find out where we are riding.

All of the apps are for my boys 9 and 13. But once in a while I do get into a couple like X-games Snocross, MMA by EA Sports, and use Units regularly for any kind of conversions, Also iHandy Level if do not have the level around and kids are around with there ipods or pad.

I just saw some FB chatter about a new game called "water"

Sent from my CrackBerry using Tap Dat AS S

personally, LOVE the facetime....I travel a great deal, and allows me to say good night in person while travelling, and for the kids to see me...they love it, and always get goofy giddy...it is a true blessing!!!
