My brain is hurting. De ja vu all over again. I always preferred to sit in the back where it was more fun. On a better note, I have ordered my combo BBars/BBoards today (no pun intended). Sledding tomorrow, 2.5' of fresh in the past 3-4 days!!!!

You are right! We had better work both days since we are going to the tremendous expense and effort to be there. There you go the 16th as well! Actually in the past recent years Puyallup has basically been a one day show. If there is a football game the shows are pretty empty. Same with Denver.

I recieved my Better Bars and Boards.

I can tell you this... the new bars are much more stiff and in the hand... feel like the same weight.

Cant wait to get them on my project sled.

The base pattern is exactly the same we just use a thicker material and if he doesn't have the 2010 version of our Better Boards for 0069 (Polaris IQ RAW 155-163) then he will get added strength value in the newest design as well. We've done three versions of thickness' but the stock and one notch heavier or HD is the best. The third is pretty rediculous! Once again combine all factors of the heavier duty Better Bars and the new (much improved both in performance and strength) version of HD Better Boards for his model and he'll be all set.

Now you've kind of hit on the number one reason we don't pre-drill our product. Once things have been ridden and wowed around it's impossible to have things realign when you need to replace product. This is a wearable item that has a ride life and must be replaced over time. Not to mention that guys regularly cross sleds and parts need to be interchangable without a major cost rebuilt.

Simply remove his existing Better Boards replace the outer bars with Better Bars (that should realign some of the wow prior to resetting new boards)...lay the new HD 0069B in place and drill back up through your existing rivet holes. Also note if you've cut cross beams as opposed to one large space get rid of those as well. They add nothing in strength and can cause play that is adverse. Make sure the footbed is solid and flat against the Better Boards prior to re-riveting (hammer the foot bed lip up to level for fit if you need to so that you don't force the boards to bend with the rivet pulling).

The add says for Assault but the custom HD part number 0069(B) product qualifies as well. Very similar basic design just some differences in the back because of the larger suspension bracket on the Assault versus the IQ RAW RMK.

We will be displaying and educating dealers and consumers at the Edmonton Snow Show but not vending directly to the general public like we do in the states.

We have our standard thickness (which there are close to 3,000 of the model in question out running around and work great for 99% of the general public) and we have HD which is another notch thicker and therefore heavier. We've even experimented with one more version thicker but they were rediculous!

We advise our heavy jumpers, super huckers, or people that are just so hardcore that their sleds wear out in a season to go for the HD version. The design is exactly the same just thicker stock metal. The HD Better Boards and our chromoly support bars are about as solid as you can get for sled parts.

Thanks for the reply, was hoping there would be some kind of special deal going on for the snow show. We get hosed here on imported stuff, even more so when you add another middleman to the price.

Well gang! Now these have been out and on over 300 IQ RAW sleds this entire season. The reports are nothing but stellar. If you have a bent, sagging, wowed out stock running board on your IQ RAW sled this will flat fix it! This combo with the stronger and stiffer bars PLUS the abosolutely great new version of Better Boards is excellent. Better stronger stiffer and the ultimate in traction and snow clearing for your IQ RAW sled.

only 2/3rds the price of the competition, twice as easy to install, and flat out proven to work with hundreds on the snow and thousands of ridden miles of testing!

Remember: A stiffer, stronger, less flexing chassis equals a quicker easier handling mountain sled.

i've been running the new boards w/ the better bars for a little over 1000 miles so far this season and it is incredible the difference the bars make. the chassis is much stiffer and more responsive to rider input, and their still straight!
