i know of some people in idaho falls that need truck drivers... but not boise...

anywhere but wa

Im looking to get out of washington traffic is enough to drive you nuts and I like the outdoors so anywhere in Idaho. If you have any leads please pm me and let me know Im open to any area as long as its not to far from good sleddin

Boise was just rated the number 4 best city to live in based on some magazine writers criteria. Terrible delapidated roads, poor community planning, a dead downtown, the worlds worst drivers, and ten times too many cranky, rude, obnoxious people all dealing with the aforementioned problems must not have been factored in.

We got a good football team though!

Kind of makes me sad for the other ten thousand plus cities that finished behind us...wow it must really really suck there.

Hate to tell you this, but Boise construction is pretty flat. IMO. Lots of tools for sale around here. Tamerack going bust didn't help things. But, one nice thing, if your in Idaho, you can't be too far from good snowmobiling.

its not just land it is also the fact that the govener queen greguire was caught saying that she does not want anyone living in wa that does not make at least 100k per year good luck buying a cheeseburger or getting your car fixed between me and my wife both working full time we dont make enough to afford to buy a house

South down here in the Treasure Valley ain't so good either. As Wade said, construction is way down to the point I am closing up shop myself, so good luck. My bro drives dump truck and is only working 2 days a week right now and this is the busy season.

Now come on Slim the border isn't closed. The "Welcome to Idaho" sign fell down across the dirt road and we haven't got the money to set it back up!

Business is dead here too, unless you are in the tourist business. Which is still slow. Not much construction, and it's real spendy to live here.

Idaho

well thanks for the input Ill keep that in mind Ive done alot of paving and if there not builing homes then there not building roads I have a lead in Idaho Falls and that is not to far from some good riding is it?

Moving

Hope there is some space for me in a few years because when my kids are done with school, I am getting out of this Seattle/Tacoma S-hole. It will be Idaho or Montana.

not to far??

Harf, in my opinion Idaho Falls is one of the best places a rider could live. You're pretty much right in the middle of all the best riding you could ask for. You have good riding within 15 min, better within half an hour. And an hour, maybe hour and a half your into great riding. One of my favorites is Alpine, WY just over an hour. but IP is just over an hour also. and your still within driving distance of a days ride in Togwotee or even Cooke City. You might not ride out of your driveway, but I think it's a great spot.
