You simply could... But it defeats the entire purpose. Your engine coolant would be keeping your intercooler heated. While a separate system is only begin heated by the compressed air in the charge tube. There wouldn't be much of an cooling advantage to be pumping hot coolant through an exchanger... It would be just heat soaked and not beneficial.
Ok that makes sense, I was just thinking if your coolant temps are running 165 and charge temps without an intercooler are running 200 +, wouldnt there be some benefit? Or is that just not enough temp change?
