Intake icing up?

Anybody have a cure for the prefilter icing up bad and letting enough moisture through making the intake cage ice over? I don't want any ice going through the turbo. We were in 4-5 feet of fresh powder yesterday and my impulse intake was constantly covered and iced over.

lookin for some thoughts as well.. on my yamadoo yestederay, only maybe 2' of fresh snow, but cold and real fine, so anytime you slowed down the steam from everything hits it and covers it,... then the sled starts running like a turd as it has NO air. take it off, thaw out, start over RIPS... but that only lasts for maybe 5 minutes.

seems like some days the intake might just have to stay inside the hood and take warm dry air/

I did some searching and found that putting a second prefilter on that is larger will keep the moisture from getting through and freezing to the cage. I just ordered a bigger prefilter through the outerwears website.
