Insurance claim, take off goodies first?

Did they offer you a buyback on the totaled sled? I just totaled mine and was wondering how much it would be to buy it back.

Yessir they did. They wanted $2700 and it needed a boatload of parts. I wanted to get it for about $1500.

my ins company didnt evan look at mine when i wrecked it they had me get a estimate from the dealer and fax it to them check was in the mail the next day

My oh my, that seems like a lot for a buy back...but what doo you think you could have got for the eng, clutches so and so on??? My buddy did good on his 06 but then maybe more folks looking for parts for those sleds? Dino

I have USAA and they're pretty good. First insurance claim ever and from what I know, they won't drop me. I have auto, sled and home insurance through them.

You have to love USAA. I had my truck broke into. they asked what was stolen and had a check for that to me in two days. sent me down to their recomended glass dealer and that was taken care of.

Had a lady hit me in a parking lot and they told me to take it to one of their recomended body shops. they paid body shop and took up with other persons insurance. I didn't have to do any thing but make the call. that and their rates are by far better than any one else.
