If anyone could please help me out with this problem, I would greatly appreciate any feedback information guidance I can get. Just put in a new engine in my 2013 Pro RMK 800, not a rebuild but an actual new engine from top to bottom. After installing it I started it up several times and the instrument cluster would not come on. Then 12 hours later I come back to start the machine and it would not start. After testing all the things that you can test for with a multimeter and having changed the voltage regulator, I figured it was the stator. So I finally received the stator last Friday, so after putting everything back together on Saturday I start it up on the second pull and still no instrument cluster working. So I checked the wires and connections, everything seems fine as far as I can tell. In the service manual it says that and I quote "if the instrument cluster fails to illuminate, an over - voltage condition may have occurred forcing the instrument cluster to power down". And that is all the information they give about it, so I am wondering what would be causing the over - voltage and would that also cause also cause my voltage regulator to burn out? On my way home last night after the disappointing upset loss of the Chiefs over the Philadelphia Eagle's, I lost my lights and hand warmers. So I had to drive home in the dark. Again I would greatly appreciate any help, feedback, opinions, guidance I can get. It's becoming over bearing with the amount of problems I have been running into with this sled. Winter is almost over and I have not been able to enjoy at least one day out on it. Thank you
