I have the tether from my Pro I thought I would use on my axys. In taking everything apart I do not seem to find the matching plug. Did they change plugs for the tether?

Don't think so cause I am using one for a 14 pro on my 16 Axys- Are you looking in the velcro bag located just under the steering post?/ It's in there/ there is a huge post on the tether on here ..-

The plug should be the same, I used the one off of my '13 Pro on my 16'. Like stated above, the connection is in the velco'd shut bag up by the steering column, I took the whole hood and air box off to get at it, don't know if that was completely necessary but I was just looking around.

Tether

Same as above. Plug is the same. Just wanted to add that I didn't need to take any bolts off to get to velcro bag next to steering post to find the connector on my 2017. I think all I did was removed the left panel and after a little fishing pulled it down into view. 15 min job.

Thanks everybody. Last night I pulled the hood and airbox off and opened up the Velcro bag under there but was not finding it. Will go back out and dig harder tonight. Checked at dealer today and part number has not changed so it has to be there.

It's there, keep looking;)

Yep I found it. was all the way to the back of the Velcro bag. Took dash off to make it easier. quite a few wires in that Velcro bag. Fits tight and with the wire harness that comes out to go to the dash buttons it would not pull too far forward. All back together now working great..now just need snow

Tether

Wow. I must have gotten lucky then. I think at most I may have had to take the hood off to get to mine. Glad you found it though! :face-icon-small-hap

Anyone have any photos of where they've mounted the tether? Any clearance issues with location?

Thanks
