installing EGTs

Hey guys - just bought a used set of EGTs. Where are you guys getting the power from to run the screen? What wire are you tapping in to?

A few people have used the accessory plug next to the steering post - this super old thread talks about it:

I'm hooking up a digitron myself and was wondering if there were better options as well.

reverse beeper should work if you want to disconnect the buzzer

Either the yellow brown wires by the base of your handlebars. Or there is also a extra yellow and brown by the speedo and tach. Those are your auxiliary power spots.
