Bought a boondocker kit off a 05 RMK 900 to put on my 06 900 fusion from a fellow snowester,
The 06 has 4 injectors the 05 has 2, the cable only connects to 2. Heres my question, wich injectors do I hook to?
I called BD, a 4 injector cable is aprox $100. delivered, tech said that he believes bottom injectors do all the mid and upper rpms and i could just hook to them, He wasnt completely sure though. The 05 only has upper injectors, Need second opinion from someone who has done it. Thanks

On the 06 model..the boondockers box needs to plug in the upper injectors..

Also make sure u ground the control box ground to the recoil housing or straight to the chassis..not the brown ground wire on the stock wiring harness

I take it the uppers run the higher rpm's? Will I have to tune at a specific rpm range outside of were lowers flow?

Yes the lower injectors run till around 5800 and switch to the uppers after that

U will tune at different rpm ranges..but u can add/subtract fuel at any rpm with the control box

It's a pain..download the instructions off their website if u dont have them already

thanks for the help, i'll post again if I have any issues , Just rebuilt entire engine, gonna toss that back in this afternoon and install the nitous at same time.

Dont know how much of a differance it makes but it also has a DYNOPORT full exhaust, Clutch kit and custom box mod. Was thinking I may have to add weight to clutch and do a helix change also once done.

The instructions from boondockers say to hook to lowers, have you tried both and seen better results with them hooked to tops?

IV. EFI Wiring Harness
Polaris EFI Harness
On the Polaris, each injector has a short (12”) pigtail that goes to a connector. The EFI harness plugs into these connectors
instead of the injectors themselves since engine removal is necessary to access the injectors. These injector connectors are
located behind the engine under the jackshaft next to the tunnel.
Note for 06 models: The 06 engine has two injectors per cylinder, an Upper and Lower injector for the MAG and
PTO sides. All four connectors are located near the tunnel on the PTO side.
The Boondocker EFI harness will connect to the Lower set of injectors. Each pair of injector wires has one of
the following white identification tags:
UMAG – Upper Mag-side injector
*LMAG – Lower Mag-side injector * connect shorter EFI harness connector to these connectors
UPTO – Upper PTO-side injector
*LPTO – Lower PTO-side injector * connect longer EFI harness connector to these connectors

?????????????

Whoops!! Sorry bid I accidentally hit the thumbs down button..I apologize for my fat fingers on my cell phone

I could have been wrong..I had nitrous on my 05 900 so was common sense on connections..but had the control box on my 06 900 for tuning only..but I swat it was on the upper injectors??

But obviously the instructions say the lower plugs..by all means do what they say..I may have done it wrong or unsure where mine was used..

Heres some pics, notice I removed very end of chute in airbox and the BULLSEYE Vents I added last year. System fits pretty clean. I like it.
