Installed a crossfire 700 hood on my 09 M8 and have speedo question

I pulled off my black 09 M8 hood and installed an older green 700 crossfire hood. I did not realize until I went to install my speedo that the mounting hole is totally different. My question is if I install the speedo for the older crossfire hood will it still plug into my 09 speedo plug.

what i would do is either make the hole bigger or call up the nearest ac dealer and ask them, or call the customer service for ac.

Or you could rivet a piece of plastic above the opening and attatch the speedo to the plastic.
It is easier to see, still below the windshield, (if you run a stock one) and then the speedo hole will vent out hot air.

His problem is that the hole is already too big.

i did this

the harnesses and speedo hookups are different

so you will have to use your 09 speedo with 09 harness

what i did is just put a cover on the existing ( to big ) hole ,, then cut the right size hole in it to fit the 09 speedo
