Installation and Review: Psychosled "Bridge" Fuel Controller

My three OEM plugs...
Mounting the Air-Fuel sensor required removing the Skinz Under Tunnel Exhaust pannel.
Normally it is recomended that you mount the A/F sensor in a Vertical position, as close to Straight up and down as possible. This has nothing to do with sensor accuracy, but everything to do with longevity.
In my particular case I did NOT want the probe coming up through my exhaust plate under my seat, so I opted to mount it Horizontally sticking out the side from the exhaust pipe. This will likely cut down the life of the sensor to only 2-3 seasons!
Normally I would have lots of detailed photos of an install.
But in this case, because of the required removal and welding of the Intercooler sensor I farmed out the portion of this install to Rexburg Motor Sports. So I have NO images to share...
This is the finished install.

Brought the sensor wire up through the corner of the cover plate.
And I brought the DynoJet/Bridge Connector under my TrailTank

When I get the seat installed tomorrow, I will secure this connection under my Skinz seat and lock it down to something.
Meanwhile, with the Intercooler back inside of the sled, I hooked up the other sensor to the system.
NOTE.
Not knowing any better I FAILED to tell the shop that was doing the Aluminum welding to point the sensor in the OTHER direction. While there is MORE than enough cable to correct my error, when you do the install, point it towards the cooler and not away from it like I did!

Well, that was an exercise in FUTILITY.
Went to 5 different stores that carry SD cards.
NONE of them carry a 1GB card!
This is just like the Spark Plugs.
Non-Stock item that has to be ordered in.
What a pain!
4GB seems to be the smallest common card any more.
Found 1 shop that had 2GB.
Back to Amazon.

While connected, the unit will display all available data from the Power Commander. When the optional Multi-Function Hub is also installed all of its data is available for viewing as well.
Data loggin capable (Requires SD Memory Card, must be purchased seperately)
Able to store multiple maps and send them on the fly to the Power Commander (requires user supplied SD card, 1gb max)

The Display supports memory cards from 128MB to 1
GB. The first time you install a memory card, you may
need to format it for the Display.
Note: Formatting the memory card will erase all data on
the memory card. If you use a memory card from your
digital camera, for example, any photos on that card will
be erased when formatting.
1 Insert the memory card into the slot located next to the USB port on the Display. Refer to “Installation” on page 2.
2 Supply power to the Display by connecting a USB cable from the Display to your computer.
The SD Format screen will appear. If the SD Format screen does not appear, the memory card has already been formatted and is ready to be used with the Display.
3 Touch Format to format the memory card or touch Cancel to abort the formatting process and exit the screen.
If the memory card is not formatted, it will not be usable with the Display.
Once formatting is complete, the Format Confirmation screen will appear.
4 Touch OK in the Format Confirmation screen.
The memory card is now ready to store maps and data logging files.
My guess is that it is just OLD technology that DynoJet hasn't bothered to upgrade.

I am using OFT's Steering Relocation Kit.
So this changes the geometry of my LCD installation.
I opted to mount the LCD on the top of my steering post, directly above and in front of the OEM LDS Display.
I hope this is a tempory solution, as I would prefer to mount it Below the handlebars toward the fuel tank where it would not obstruct my OEM display. Just as soon as I can get a new mounting bracket made, I plan on moving it.
The installed DynoJet LCD Display module inside of the Psychosled Billet Aluminum Case.

A "micro" SD card will work, they nearly always come with an adapter, and the adapter fits right in there...
Also, they are usually less than $5.

Everything is in place now.
The Sled is connected to my computer and the Psychosled Bridge box is ready to be programed!
Make sure you can get your sled CLOSE to your PC as the Bridge has to be programed while plugged into the sled.
