Ok got in my can this am from GO BIG PARTS. Great service super fast delivery. So we started with our stock can

And here is how it sounded

Now for the new can,

And this is how the new can sounds. It was noticeably louder but seemed a bit snappier. Hope its not too loud was told it was close to stock but as you can hear its louder

Nice, I have the same can, haven't had a chance to install it yet. I don't think it sounds too loud at all like some people were saying it would.

Sounds pretty sweet actually, thanks for sharing.

Under full power, the same can but fitted to an XP would scream when WOT.

Nice thread and vids

Thank you for posting them up!!

Nice way to make a comparison.
Obviously we don't see what it sounds like on hill; wot, but thats a lot to expect. :)

That is no where near stock IMO...thats going to be loud at wot.
I dunno if guys have poor hearing already, that they can't distinguish the difference, but thats pretty obviously loud[er] to me.

The stock Pol can isn't even all that quiet to be honest.. Pol actually did real well on weight to sound balance and meeting dB requirements.

However, I am with you somewhat, with all the cans I put on sleds in the past, they "felt" snappier for whatever reason. Most likely just psychological, but it sure feels that way. :)

If its too loud Ill be selling it at a discount. I think Paul Aris on here said it would be the quitest of all the aftermarket cans. Thats why I bought it.

A cup for the can to fit in and seal on the belly pan. The other pipe fits in the pipe as a stinger to help create more heat in the pipe for peak performance.

can you measure the ID of the outlet of the can?

Ive got a decible meter if ya wanna be real picky with measurements. But, i bet that thing really screams up top!

It was way too loud for me I sold it to a buddy. Back to stock. Bummer that it had to be that obnouxious I loved the fit and finish but just too damn loud. Which aftermarket can saves weight but holds the noise level down?? Looking

Mike, I had a Skinz Super Q on my 2012...not annoying and quality was very nice.

No SLP is and has been the closest to stock db levels. Straightlines literature claims close to stock levels but I believe that might be a blanket statement for their cans which may pertain more at their steel ones. Sorry if you were mislead. First sound clip i have heard of a cf can on a pro.
