Innovate afr gauge issue?

I am installing my innovate afr gauge on my 13 boondocker pro. I wired into the power source for my intercooler fan. I connected the red wire from the gauge to the red wire for the fan harness and then the black and white wires from the gauge to the brown wire for the fan harness. I started the sled and the gauge lights briefly came on and then went back out. I still had the 2 amp dc fuse in so I thought that it blew and replaced it with a 10 amp fuse as recommended. Hooked everything back up the same way and still no lights coming on on the afr gauge. I tried hooking up the same way with the dc power source on the hood and still nothing. I tested both power sources with a light indicator and there was power for both of them so the only thing in my mind that could be wrong is the gauge. Has anybody had problems with their gauge or am I making a stupid mistake that I am not catching?

It comes from the two pigtail connector in the handlebar harness (I assume this is the ac accessory plug?)

I read a thread (link below) mentioning that a guy connects all of his afr gauges after the "fan booster" without any problems so that is what I tried because I wanted to avoid hooking it to the DC power source under the hood so I did not have to unplug it every time I take my hood off. Did I just screw up and connect my gauge to an AC power source?

I am not sure if the Ac plug under bars has a rectifier on it with the bd kit. I have a different kit, but I tried a dc rectifier on the Ac accessory plug under the bars and had problems with my innovative afr gauge. I sent it back to them to see what was wrong with it. I checked to make sure I had dc power before plugging the gauge in. I will let you know what I find out when I talk to them tomorrow, they have had it for a week. Mine did the same thing as yours. I was trying to plug my afr and oil pump into the Ac plug since I deleted my headlight.

yeah, I'd appreciate it if you would keep me in the loop. The boondocker fan harness comes off of that plug and then goes into a "module" which I assumed was a rectifier. Perhaps it isn't and the fan is running off of AC power, I hope this is not the case as I have a trip planned this weekend and really don't want to go without an afr since this will be the maiden voyage on the turbo.

I will let you know. I have tried running the innovative off of a rectifier and a regulator. The gauge wouldn't work for me. Other people claim they have and I even talked to a few of the manufacture's and they claim it should work. I will ask innovative about using a rectifier on 12 vac.

The headlight ACC plug in the hood is the plug I am using now. It works fine, I was just trying to move the power to headlight circuit of the stator since I just deleted.

CCClark On Saturday my sled will be at Cycles and Sleds in hyde park you can look how I have done mine. I had the same problems you are having, ended up hooking up the to the 12 dc plug.
