Inman road ride

Any one interested on a little road ride up inman this week?

There was about 12 sleds in the parking lot today. About 8 inches in the parking lot. Right now you cant stray to far off the trail, but a road ride is definitly possible.

ya it is still possible. i wen tup saturday and people have been going up every day. but it is almost imposible to get off the trails.

Rode Inman today, good first trail ride. But, we need snow, a lot more. Sagebrush isn't even close to being covered.

ya we definetly need some more snow and the 15 day forecast aint showing nothing.

Inman got about 7 more inches today at the parking lot. and it looks like we are going to get more the rest of this week.

Rode yesterday, there was about a foot of fresh snow up top and still snowing hard when we came down the hill. Still need a lot more, hopefully we'll get a bunch in the next few days.

Rode inman today, found spots with almost 2ft of snow. No base however and I was very reluctant to get off the trail.

Elk Meadows up Scout has got about the same, be very cautious when leaving the trail... cost me a trailing arm, steering rod, possibly the shock, radius rods, and maybe the bulk head.... not to mention a 3 hour tow out, face full of snow, and toasted shoulder...

Wow, didn't know you are local... I read your post in the gen II section, sorry to hear about your mishap. I didn't think you could get 3 hrs away from the parking lot up at crystal on a snowmobile, unless you go out toward malad pass maybe. Not a lot places to go up there. Have they opened the gate to the fields yet? Honestly, I don't enjoy ridin' this kinda snow we've got unless there's a good base under it. Check on KSL for parts, there usually a lot gen II stuff.

It's only about a 20 min ride out from the warming hut, with an operational sled... but when your towing a sled at a crawling pace at night, it turned into 3 hours... not to mention having to stop all the time because the sleds kept over heating.

They haven't opened the gate yet, I would imagine it's pretty close, I think last year they wanted like what 14 inches or something before they opened it? Now they want 2 ft.

I'm always on ksl, sold and bought quite a few things on there, great place, haven't found anything yet.
