Information on North Summit/Peacock snow park East of Twisp

Plan on heading to this area Wednesday night and riding Thursday through Saturday. A report a friend was looking at was 2-4ft between now and Friday. Not familar with area, wondering what terrain is like and if worth driving from Portland, Or. Like to ride hills and boondock. Has anyone been their this week? Any information would be appreciated. Would hate to drive that far with very little snow or rain.

Ridden it many times in the past, but not for the last 5 yrs....Good friend has 40 acres just south of Loup Loup, so I'd spent time and and poke around.

Even in good snow, not much to do off-road, any open areas have been logged and lots of stumps. From Peakcock, you can hit Concuncully for a meal/beer. You can work your way up to the top of Loup Loup (via buck pass), cross the highway and ride the summit rd almost to Brewester.

Not a great area and not worth the long drive in an average snow year. Probably less now?
