Increasing Throttle Response & Top Speed

i was wondering what i can do to increase the throttle response and top speed on my 03 700 RMK 144". pretty much all stock except an SLP single pipe. Prefer low cost changes but am open to anything.

I noticed that i last year the sled could top out around 100mph on flat packed snow but this year i only made around 80-85. i did have to tighten the track a bit last year inorder to fix a ratcheting issue but didnt tighten it much.

Any suggestions?

You might want to just check your clutching. Maybe worn bushings, dirty clutches, bad belt, worn out springs. If it pulled good last year and this season it wont pull it's most likley something basic. How many miles are on the sled? Maybe its time to freshen up the motor with new pistons. clean carbs, new plugs, I would look at simple maintenace first before spending any money on mods.
