I have a 2002 Yukon with the 5.3 motor.

I pull our sleds in a two place enclosed trailer, the majority of the time it is fine, however against the wind or up a big hill it is short a few ponies.

Has anyone used a chip or other mods that actually work?

I would be willing to spend $300 -$400.

Thanks

I have a 2001 Silverado 5.3 with 118,000 miles (Mobil 1 synthetic since new). Hypertech Power Programmer, K&N FIPK Intake, and a Flowmaster cat back kit. These have all been on for at least 100,000 of those miles and the truck still pulls strong. Of these upgrades, I would say the Flowmaster kit helped with the mileage, the Power Programmer helped with power but reduced the mileage, and the K&N kit added intake air noise.
