I think it's ridiculous that I have to give away thousands of my hard earned money to support millions of people that don't want to work. Some situations I understand such as if someone got laid off and can't find a job as the economy isn't good right now and I have no problem helping them out until they are able to find a job. But some peoples situations are ridiculous and I feel that if they don't want to work then they shouldn't be given my money. I know it's a pointless thread but I had to get that off my chest.

Was at Winco foods the other day as I was waiting in line, the people at the register two carts in front of me(man? and wife?) where arguing with the cashier about a loaf of bread , the man talking on his $600.00 phone telling his wife? what to do ,needless to say (WIC state program )) only allow only premium quality food on the list to purchase ,not (Hytop) , wanted to grab a rope and have an instore hanging (end that gene pool ).

Two of my employees work the same position. One works hard and stays out of trouble....he took home 70k. The other works hard but has gotten 5 DUI/s. Also has a divorce and is remarried to a gal that wont work. The first guys paid in to Feds and got just a little back from state. Second guy got 9k back.

First guy says to him........"WTF this is BS"

second guy says
"yeah but I made less than you, so I deserve it"

Not once does he take accountability for all the wrong turns he has made in his life.

This is the time of the year when I also feel like I was just gang raped in the back door without lube. My wife and I are very fortunate to have great jobs, but when you pay as much in taxes as what the median house hold income is for the city it makes a guy sick. I went to the mall on Sunday and left scared and sick to my stomach; the amount of obese, white trash, mouth breathers in that place was straight up scary. What also pisses me off to no end is when a family stocks up and pre-fab meals and s**t I don’t even allow my kids to eat only to throw down a WIC card to take care of it. Then in a separate transaction they buy 2 carton of cigarettes and a dirty 30 of Keystone Light, paying for it with a huge wad of cash they pulled out of their pocket......THAT makes my blood boil.

I got 300$ back. I make about 7 grand a year. I still think a flat tax would be best.

The working class should get the free ride every once in awhile. We work our a$$es off all year just to get a kick in the a$$ at tax time. Put some of those people that are on welfare to work for the government and make them do something for their money. The welfare system and many more government systems need a thorough overhaul. If you guys vote me in for president I guarantee things will get better for us working class and sledders. When mom used to tell me when I was little "life isn't fair get used to it" she hit the nail on the head.

I firmly believe welfare should be abolished... why should we encourage and reward laziness???!!!!! Unemployment is a good program in my opinion and should remain just as it is, a small benefit to help people get back on their feet... but most importantly, with a time limit!!!

The unfortunate problem is that you now have a group on welfare that is big enough to overpower the voice of the productive members of society, so nothing is going to change.

Its funny because if/when the revolution begins the majority of those on welfare/the piles of sh1t they will die of thirst/starvation in the first week or two. Quite frankly it can't come soon enough. We could use a through cleansing of the gene pool.

I know this topic is largely aimed at those cheating the system and the system sitting back and allowing it. Totally agree that the true minority is the working class supplying the funds for this fraudulent system and wish it would go away.

On the other hand, has anyone seen the amount of money planned on being spent just for military vehicles in the next few years? Let me clarify that I'm not bashing any serviceman/woman or what the role is for our military people protecting us. Thanks and keep up the good work. BUT, from the gubment side of things we are talking about a TRILLION dollars in spending just on equipment. $400 billion in F-35s, $100+ billion in tiltrotor aircraft, 3 new nuclear aircraft carriers (just the ships themselves), 30+ submarines. All while almost every soldier that goes out and risks their life for us can't even get a decent salary or treatment for stuff once they return???

I say the focus needs to be put on calling foul at an equal level to the gubment, just as bad as the leaches of society need to be abolished.

And I actually got a decent return this year, only because I report as married/0. People might say I'm dumb for 'giving the gubment my money interest free for a year'. Touche. I'm still human, and I'd rather get a lot of it returned in lump sum than nickel and dime it all away all year and have nothing to look forward to. I've paid my dues though, trust me. 2 sister that have had a total of 6 kids from 4 baby daddies, all while taking the benefits of WIC, Medicaid, Foodstamps. The wife has 3 ex-step sisters that have popped out 4 as well, all while milking the hard working middle-class for their gubment assistance program goodies. Enough said...................
