in search of pro rmk 155" rails (MN)

I just found out the rails on my sled (2012 Pro RMK 155") are bent and I'm going to Cooke city on tuesday. Anyone around have a set I can purchase asap!?!?! Call or text 612-245-8464. Any help would be greatly appreciated. I have had this trip planned since summer.

Been in the same situation a time or two before :)

If you cant find a set of rails close by you can remove the bent rails, take everything off them and straighten them in a shop press. You have to fineness them back into shape. Take your time and do a little at a time. I've fixed some really nasty looking rails = bowed, twisted, bent, it just takes time and a big enough press to fit them into and also be able to spread out the pressure. Call a couple local metal fab shops if you dont have a press handy. Eric

If you cant find them locally...

You MAY be able to get Ice Age to get you a set to cooke city overnight or two day delivery.. They are about 3 hours from Cooke City... Wrench and ride.

You would need to be persistent in calling them first thing in the morning (Mountain Time)... and ask nicely if they can get a set off to you.

USE YOUR PHONE and call till you get a live person... Don't rely on Voice messages... but I DO recommend that you leave a voice mail if you get the recording on your first call.

If you have your skid out already...pre-clean and grease your skid so it works well... have all the bolts loose and ready to go (this is super important if you don't want to be cussing and wasting time when you arrive)... with a couple of extra hands... you could swap the rails on site and get it into your sled in less than an hour.

Have your bolts pre-cleaned... loctite blue ready... all of the correct tools set out....make sure you have Torx bits for the Hyfax retaining screws too.
Have your scratchers, Rear idler/axles pulled, cross shaft-brace, and limiter strap shaft pulled.... I recommend transporting it with the old rails assembled to keep everything in order and accounted for.

A cordless impact gun makes things much easier/faster on-site.

If you go the IceAge direction... you will need to get 8" rear wheels as the stockers will not work

IceAge Performance
***Note*** Rails are cut to accomodate 8" or 9" rear idler wheels.
Stock Polaris wheels are 7 1/4". Appropriate wheels are required
for proper fit and function. Do not run the stock wheels on rails
configured for larger wheels, damage to your track/rails/wheels may occur!

$375 for the pair of NEW rails, including NEW hyfax, rail tips and hardware.
They have nice 8" plastic wheels that will bolt onto your existing rear axle for $35 each.

If you want to beef them up ... you can get the rail stiffeners.

For those that might recommend the "Bomber" rails... those are not often "in stock" and ready for shipping like the standard rails.

They are awesome to work with and will help you if they can.
