I can't believe how many have voted to remove "In God we Trust" on this Poll.

Here's your chance to let the media know where the people stand on our
faith in God, as a nation. NBC is taking a poll on "In God We Trust" to
stay on our American currency. Please send this to every Christian you
know so they can vote on this important subject Please do it right
away, before NBC takes this off the web page.

Poll is still open so you can vote.

This is not sent for discussion, if you agree forward it, if you don't, delete it.
By me forwarding it, you know how I feel. I'll bet this was a surprise to NBC.

in god we trust!

WTF is this nation coming to?:devil::confused:

First they pull the pledge from our schools, now they want our currency changed.... Pack ur phugggin bags and leave.... I am so sick of people wanting to change what this country was founded on....

This nation was founded based upon CHRISTIAN beliefs.

Any one who has a problem with that is more than welcome to leave at any time.

Should the motto "In God We Trust" be removed from U.S. currency? * 6979691 responses
Yes. It's a violation of the principle of separation of church and state.

No. The motto has historical and patriotic significance and does nothing to establish a state religion.

Hmmmm.... I'm not encouraged by the numbers. Anyone think it's slightly biased due to which media is putting the poll on (MSNBC)??? I'd like to think the numbers nationally would be in the 90's....

I appreciate our freedom to practice our chosen religions as we like and to ignore the ones we don't. I just wish more poeple would ignore the ones they don't like and focus more on the ones they do. :beer;

No.
You are "doomed" if you you disagree.

ha ha ha ha.......Yes, we must all follow what you say are beliefs and if we don't then we are doomed...

But I was talking about the rationality that since that is what we did before, we should keep on doing it..... People change, families change, economies change.... everything in this world changes.... We can either try and change it to our benefit, or we can watch it change around us. When it comes to societal beliefs, we have much much to change....

Not everything needs to change for the sake of change.

Show me a rational reason why "In God we trust" should be removed from our currency, then when will have a subject to debate.

Not everything needs to change for the sake of change.

Nothing changes for the sake of change. Things change because they need to. But not changing because it is change, is just as bad, if not worse.

Show me a rational reason why "In God we trust" should be removed from our currency, then when will have a subject to debate.

I don't have one... It is just a coin... I will be happy when the ones have more color...:beer;

I truly disagree.
I think much changes for no valid reason at all.

And some things should not be altered lest we lose their original intent.

Such as......
"In God we trust"
"One nation, under God"
The original rendition of our "National Anthem"
(Who else is sick & f#cking tired of hearing that butchered by azz clowns?)
"Yes mam"
"No sir"
and "I won't cum in your daughters mouth, sir"

Change, for nothing more than the sake of change is foolish.
Everytime we change something, we will either improve it or harm it.
Let's be careful so we are certain we are not doing the latter.

death doesnt change.:rolleyes: hmmm not everything changes.

Alright, I don't care if my money has whatever on it, as long as it buys corndogs at the fair.

But, if your arguing change for the sake of change, then I make you a challenge. Let's go back to the way our denominations were first printed for the first 100 years of this country. If you want to go back to what this country was founded on. Anyone, have a problem with that?

Don't see nothing about God on there.

This country was founded on the idea of religious freedom NOT christian beliefs in particular

Bottom line-- what happened to all the real americans and not a bunch of sissy azzed commies who have a need to try to change something that is as old as this country:mad:

Please..... doesn't that argument doom us into stagnation?...

Look Libby you and I been getting along, now you and your liberal USA destroying attitude are starting to make we made. In God We Trust. Maybe God is a christan belief, Maybe god is Tom Brokaw to you, Maybe god is a flower to some other people. Leave it alone, the term stays. If any change happens the people that don't agree should move to another country. See ya wouldn't want to be ya.
