Impulsive Behavier

Going out in the morning to see what all the hype has been about. Could tell the truth about how long it has taken but that wouldn't be the sledders way. I will tell what it is though, VE tunnel, ice age rails and big wheel kit with timbersled suspension front and rear, ryde front shocks waiting on bushings, 162"x15" camo-extreme track, avid drivers, impulse turbo with fuel system upgrade,10.1 pistons, carrillo rods, valve spring set, skins seat cover, pro-logic fuel controller, and pro-logger data gauges.

Looks great Lyle! Interested in what the first ride brings. Try to keep the track side down on the way back to the lot this time... Enjoy

That sled is awesome you have put some serious work into that thing. I am running an Impulse kit also, it has been great.

Looks good buddy.......the Post has got to be next.

The tunnel is powder coated and the plastic has what they call water dipping. Don't know exactly how it is done but kinda a graphic design stencil coating over the plastic. Stock seat with a skins cover had to carve the foam to fit over the tank, not as plush as before in fact my biggest complaint in the kit. First ride had only one problem, primary won't engage sometimes. I installed quest weights they look ok after taking it back apart, but the clutch shaft has a slight machine ridge on it. Didn't ride it at all stock so I don't no if it is a factory defected or not. When it did engage I had the boost set at 10# and never could see 10# before I had to let off (was wet hard snow). I have moved over to the dark side. So does anybody have an opinion on whether to run that dry vapor locking good to 30,000 ft. av fuel or waist my hard earned trust fund on that over priced rich mans race fuel? LOL

Gonna be hard to pick a best looking nytro this year. that is sick. ou gotta tell us where you had the water dip/graphics done at. I think it's the same process I seen on american chopper. do you have a name and number, and what is the cost of doing the side panels? thanx

Spread the Yamaha LOVE Lyle........i have googled myself to death and have nothing to show for it.Do you have any more info on the water dipping? Please!!!!:D

Google: Hydrographics or Water Transfer Printing - It's just like the camo they use on rifle stocks and 4 wheeler plastics

'bout anything you can think of:
