Impulse Turbo kit for Nytro, Impressive!!!

I installed and tuned my first Impulse turbo kit last week and it is very impressive. With help from Paul at Impluse the Nytro ran great all day. About 20 minutes of tuning and it was ready to go. The sled was set for 10 to 12 psi of boost on pump fuel. The kit is able to go up to 18 psi with race fuel. There is alot of talk about MCX turbos but if you are looking to turbo a Nytro don't do it without talking to Paul at Impulse first. I've been installing Turbos on sleds for about 4 years now, (Boondockers, Mitsubishi, Aerocharger) and this kit is the best engineering and component quality I have seen yet. Started the second kit yesterday and its going smoothly. I will post some pics of the install as it goes along. If this keeps up I might have to come over to the dark side with rest of you Yamaha guys.

Sweet, I am glad you like your kit. My kit has been awesome running 14 lbs boost the only reason I don't run higher boost is I don't have new drivers yet.

I had the priviledge of riding a Nitro with the Impulse Turbo a few weeks ago and it was great.

Super smooth, very quick, lots of power.

Paul is a great guy and he has developed a great pruduct.

I would reccomend the Impulse Turbo to anyone looking to Turbo their Nitro.

How does the 9.3 gallon fuel cell work. Does it replace the stock gas tank, or is it auxillary, or am I just a 2 stroke fool and don't know what I am talking about? Looking at Boosted Nytro next year and want to do my research this year!

It replaces the stock tank, and goes under the seat clear to the rear of the seat. In fact the gas cap is just behind the seat.

It works great and increases fuel capcity over stock.

It really is a well thought out system that really works great on the snow.
