Impulse Nytro with timing control

I heard this summer about Paul working on a new standalone system for the Nytro with timing control. Anyone heard about the progress on this? Cost of upgrading an Impulse standalone Nytro to the new system? I know on my P-Lites Nytro advancing the timing on the bottom end helped turbo lag a lot when running Av gas. It seems to me the higher octane really needs the extra timing down low.

Does anyone know if there is any other tricks to add timing to a Nytro while still using the Impulse fuel system?
Can a RB3 be added and used just for timing control without screwing with the fuel curve? Hmmmmmm:face-icon-small-con Looking to get the most out of my Impulse Nytro.

We ran the new Impulse stand alone all summer and its been working killer!

Paul is working on a production kit for the standalone ECU. There is a little bit involved in the process but he has had it working on a Nytro sled. As always Paul will ensure that the kit comes clean and easy to install. You need to add cam sensors and Paul is working on a bolt on set up so you won't have to pull your motor to have sensors welded on. There are also larger coils that need to have a mounting system and he is working on that as well. As for time, once the snow flys he will be out testing. He is thinking January for a release. Once pricing is figured out I will post it up.

Ya there is quite a bit involved in the set up and its better to get all the bugs worked out before it goes out to a customer. We have bolt on cam sensor on ours, works killer and really helps clean up the harness getting rid of the factory set up. Here is a little summer testing on both the Nytro and Raptor full stand alone...

MSD coils?

So no one has played with their timing at all out there besides Paul and XTREME? Im telling ya it makes a big difference when running race fuel. Is there any way at all to advance the timing besides pauls new system or RB3? Rapid bike was nice because it ties into the existing wiring but it just doesn't have a good record for working day in and day out.

I run 100LL Avgas most of the time.
oki:) is that mutch cheaper than race fuel in us altso? my experiance is that unleded racefuel gives a more explosive engine with the right standalone. hope impulse will run their system or map it for 104 okt racefuel, unleded.

Yes it is WAY cheaper here then race gas as well!

Well the Nytro's getting dropped off at NM's on thursday for a boost-it install. We will see how it runs after that. I hope it works as good as they say it does.
