impulse nytro starting hard?

finally got my nytro all together and took it out last weekend and it ran awesome tons of power love it but the only thing thats wrong is when i turn it off for a bit and go to start it again it cranks and cranks and wont start unless i hold the throttle wide open then it will fire. is that normal for a turbo sled? fuel pressure is about 39 psi so thats within spec any ideas. And i guess another thing is when i go rip around and then go to stop the rpms drop to 800 then slowly climb up to 1500 why is that?

did you turn up your idle when you installed you turbo i believe it was 1/2 a turn over stock. a friend installed mine and said he had to turn it up

Which fuel system are you running? If you have 450 injectors then your fuel pressure is probably too high. Have you adjusted the CO's? Also might want to turn the idle adjustment up a bit.

i have the 750's and no i did not adjust the idle on it i will try it out though thanks!!!

Did you try to call Paul? He is pretty sharp he might know off the top of his head what would cause that. Never had any troubles with mine but I do not have the new fuel system.

Might want to talk to Paul. Mine wouldn't hardly idle at first and would start hard. It was running really fat, I turned my fuel pressure down and it helped but still seemed fat. dealer talked to Paul and they sent my ecm back to him to get reflashed with latest updates.

Call Paul but my guess is the CO or fuel pressure/CO combo. Pretty easy fix

ya i talked to paul he said he needs to reflash the ecm for the high alt. we'll see if that helps i think it will it seemed to run fat also.

Hmmm I am at low Alt now (1500'), hope mine works at high elevation
