Impulse Apex in AB

Does anybody in Alberta have an Impulse Apex. Just want to measure up the tank to see if it will work on my TRX1. I already have an Impulse header, but was going to use a rev tank. Not sold on that idea yet, like the idea of alu tank over plastic. That way less heat shielding, less cutting of the fuel tank cowel, etc. I know it will cost more, but this sled is kinda like a RRSP, haha. Thanks for any help, or if somebody could measure there Impulse tank up for me.

why would you not use the impulse tank its meant for that header as well as the air intake is meant to go in the stock gas cap location. also its better when filling up your tank no worries about spilling gas on the turbo.

Cause he doesnt make a RX1 kit. Was pieceing a kinda home made kit. Have a mcx intercooler, with the way impulse postions the turbo, it will work the mcx intercooler. I leaning to his tank, but its meant for an apex not a RX1. So there is some differences, thats why before I bother Paul about making a 1 off tank. Would like to see a tank in person, that way I can measure up the tank, see what my seat would fit like with some cutting, etc.

IMO the Rev tank is fine. It's too bad I never got a chance to get any pics of sled with the cowl I built for the tank on it. It looked clean and factory. After riding the sled with the new set up and the fuel moved back it rode like a whole new sled. Where I could really feel the difference was when I was riding a whooped up trail. With the old Rx1 fuel tank and all the weight on the front it really hit the whoops hard but with the Rev tank it was a much smoother ride. I have to give credit to DOO for the fuel tank idea. If you look at a 06 Adreneline Rev full of fuel they are pretty close to 600 lbs give or take but they don't ride like it. My rx was probably within 25 lbs of that but still rode like a tank with the Yamaha tank. Once I changed tanks it felt like the weight just dissapeared.

X2 on what he said...I just got my homemade Impulse style header and Rev tank on my RX-1 and have got a few runs on it and it definitely feels lighter. I was impressed at how well the tank fit and I'm not afraid of any heat issues with it at all. You can get one off ebay for around $75.
