Well I was very happy with the motor performance of my 09 m-6 turbo today but I now realize its time to start improving the clutching.
It is a bit soft out of the hole, then rips hard to about 8200 rpm and gets moving fast and shifts out just fine. The problem is that when I let out of the throttle, it just doesn't seem to backshift very well. With only a 600 and a bit of turbo lag, I need quick backshift to be able to recover track speed.
I hear that these secondary clutches are not great for backshift but I'm sure it can be improved.
Can someone recommend a stiffer secondary spring or a good helix to try?
It has stock orange spring in the driven and stock 36 degree helix now.
thanks,
Chris
