Um youll have to pack extra underwear cause it will make you sh*t your pants. The difference from your polaris to an xp will blow your mind. Just my .02

yep .. and the new sleds are carrying about 20lbs more weight. so they say. i say go for an 09 with low miles... its cheaper
Was in the same boat as you two years ago. Now I'm on my second doo and will not go back to poo. I agree with the others about going with an 09.

Get a 09! Dealers need to unload inventory and should be giving sweet deals. Thats what I did two weeks ago. Happy owner of 07 & 09 summits
i was gonna snow check one, only problem was a demo ride, i took an 09 summit x with a 154, had about 300 miles on it, shut it off, tried to start again, had no spark, after about an hour of checking connections and wiggling wires, i managed to start the unit and run it long enough to take the pos back, unfortunately was not a good demo and doo lost a customer. hopefully they get em fixed up in a year or two, but for now i guess i'm gonna have a cat.

our doo dealer is getting rid of 08 and 09 for cheap. 7000 for 08 and 8300 for 09. they are considerable less weight than the 10. I liked the M8 personally but my father bought the 08. He loves it with simmons ski's but mine still outclimbs and is faster. Just need a taller seat. 08 had some belt problems but they have a new belt out for it.
Dad has 500 miles on his now and it is running like a top. Either way you go AC, Doo, Poo, Yami you can't loose. Just like ford, dodge, chev, and toy. every one has a preferance. As for snow checking one. I would not. economy and what not you will get a better deal if you wait to buy a 10 in mid dec or later. good luck. and money talks and BS Walks.

if you good with that polaris youll be great with the doo but get an 09 save your money and ride it now. great chioce by the way

oh,,, and when i was at band camp.... we all had a hard time on a doo.
The main reason for switching is the no payment no interest until march of 2010. The new 800 polaris rmk is actually about 1000 cheeper in price compaired to the ski doo. I like my polaris and i have riden a 06 shift and I liked the ride. I hurd that the ski doo is a little more stable and stuff I ride mostly ditches and a time or two to the hills. Brand dont mean much to me. I have had 2 polaris and did very good with them and have had to yamahas and did good with them. I just go with whatever is the better deal. And if there selling 09's for 8300 there wanting 10392
