I'm headed over to the Idaho snow show.

My question is, how does the Idaho show compare to the Puyallup, Wa snow show.

Is it as big? I'm looking to get my snow show fix a month early this year. The washington show is Oct 18-19 I believe. Time for a raod trip!! :D

Not only does the Puyallup show have at least 2 x the vendors they also have a significant established swap meet. The good news is that Boise is adding the Cougar Mountain Sled Club's swap meet to the program and that should help bring in some additional attendance. Dealer wise there are far less vendors but it's all pretty much covered. You also get a pretty cool selection of hot rod's to look at with the WPS mod show. Now the kicker while the show isn't even remotely on the same level as the Washington show you get to see ME! Well worth the price of admission!

Better Boards / 2 Cool Airvents Booth....look for the large black Better Board flags.

Rob how does the salt lake show compare to the washington show? I know how it compares to the boise show.

The last couple years the SLC show has been almost identical to Boise. Not even remotely comparable to Puyallup in either number of vendor spaces or attendees. But keep in mind there are only so many vendors with a certain amount of products available. You still see a very good portion of what's available in aftermarket parts and apparel even at the smaller shows.

Puyallup does draw out a few more customizers and since it's so much more heavily attended people spend more money on booth design and space. Just like most of the small performance shops if I could only afford one show that is the one I'd pick. We go to them all and The biggest and most radical difference in the shows from a vending standpoint is that fact that the Puyallup show has an air as a pre-season buying market while the Boise and SLC shows seem to be more display and informationally oriented. People are looking for pre-season "deals". Most vendors orient around that concept and regulars realize it. The big swap meet draws in people and gives the swappers cash to come in and spend on new stuff. That increases action significantly. Boise added a much stronger swap this year so we will see if my theory is sound.

Puyallup and Denver are the 2 big ones.
They do compare to each other in about every way,
except the parking lot party, no one compares to Denver there.

Boise and SLC are very much alike.
Good shows, just less of everything.

Then we have Spokane.
Spokane is different from any.
It's a 1 day show, but really busy for that day and well worth going from both vendor and customer points of view.
