Ill running 900- HELP PLEASE!!!

Hey folks need some help 05 900 dies out after full throttle. Runs poorly at half throttle going down the trail. Stutters and misfires. Have checked fuel, only run E Free, replaced TPS, ran sled with fuel pressure gage hooked up has 60lbs. Acts like they do when they get 220 degrees and go into limp mode. No check engine light on when it dies. Any ideas would be helpful, I am ready to push it off a cliff!
THANKS!

did you just replace the TPS without setting it with the TPS tool?

does it die when its warmed up or right away when you start riding?

a few things i would cheak as well.

--replace TPS harness (check the TPS setting link in the "how to thread")
--if you have not set your TPS using the thread, do that as well.
--check your Stator ohms as per service manual

any check engine lights flashing when it bogs down?

Replaced TPS and set per specs on stickey link. Also replaced TPS harness at start of season before problem showed up. Unsure of how to check stater ohms, if you have link for that it would be much appreciated. No check engine light ever only dies after full throtle seems to do it both when it is warmed up and cold. Seems to be RPM related tends to miss more at half throtle and only dies after a full throtle pull. Thinking it may be related to stater or coils. Weird part is after you coast to a stop starts back up on first pull.

Check the stator for wear marks and see if shorted ... wires close enough cold then heats up ... gaps and shorts out causing sled to be dead .... could also be a wire in the harness.

Shake harness wires (while running)and see if there is a response to the engine RPM.

Do not pry engine to get bottom bolt of starter out ... you'll weaken/damage the mounts.

Probably is a wise idea for anyone who owns a 900 to get the updated flywheel and install it before the stock one comes apart and wrecks your stator. Also make sure you tape up the hole in the top of the pull start, it lets antifreeze get into your flywheel when you are filling the sled and if it over heats. Aluminum heat shield tape works well for this.

Also check all wires that run near your pipe too. If you see any of the plastic looms are melted check the wires inside to make sure they are not shorted. Mine melted the wires going to the temperature sender.
