Most folks on this website think of the Gold Creek in Kittitas County. This particular Gold Creek has a state Parks Dept snow park parking area.

I think you are suggesting a ride near Carlton in Okanogan County.

Both are nice areas. It would be helpful to clarify. The suggestion to join a club was a good idea.


WA isn't the only state that uses similar names in multiple places. Other states do the same (dumb and confusing) thing.

Could be worse as well. Kittitas Co. has at least two "Lost Lake" in the same county! One is kinda between Stampede and Snoqualmie passes. The second is over near Quartz Mtn.

I know it is all wierd.. I did specify (South Fork Gold Creek)... I think the other one is just called Gold Creek... Just got back and it was awsome!!!
