Ok. so after swapping my stator again after a no-spark condition (which I think may be my pulse coil), I noticed that if the timing was retarded a few degrees (lets say running at idle at 8-10 deg) the engine would just cut out, no pop or anything...would anybody say this is cdi-related or is it normal behaviour?
Also, a few things I've noticed: Total advance is around 5-7 deg, and when I let off the throttle suddenly when it is cold it will suddenly die (seems quicker than the kill switch)..
