If your riding over from Greenwater......

They were there sunday, 3 of them..plus a newer tahoe that tried to follow, got about halfway up the 12% grade, slid backwards and they abandoned it. when we got back to the snopark FS law was just unloading his tracked sidebyside to head in and try to locate them.

they were at the bottom tearin up the turn around and the bank by the chitter when i got there.1 one blocking the road, but they moved after i proceeded towards the hill.i was the first one to attempt and went all the way no prob in the old chibby.anyone that knows the 70 has a full set of chains on hand at all times.2 truck and trailers followed.a steady foot and common sense goes a long way.the chains advised at the beginning of the 70 off 410 is there for a reason or you will be calling the local guy with the 70rd recovery vehicle...:D

be prepared!! this was saturday.

The latest.....

The word I get from the meeting last night is that they will not close the FS roads on this side (open for sleds) until after the 8th (last day of hunting season). They are waiting for their signage to mark the roads and then they will mark and berm after that.
They're saying that they hope to get it done by the 10th but until they are posted and bermed up sleds are not legal on the roads.
