If you think the Monster chute is scary - look at this!

man I don't think i would be riding that anytime soon.

Check out Christen Pfierer sometime. He does trials and every other kind of bike, that guy is insane. He has a segement in one of Pastranas videos.

Sure would like to ride Moab sometime.

And you are right, sledders and dirt bikers are crazy but the stuff those mountain bikers do is just down right sick!

Do you half to go back the samw way??????????????
No, You end up on a large level area where everyone stands to look through the arch. The arch is located on the top of Poison Spider Mesa and it is just one of several fun rides on the route. While the arch loop is visually scarey, it is really a fairly easy loop. Drop it in 2nd and keep moving and don't look left! There are plenty of far more technical climbs nearby. There is one climb not 100 yards away from the arch that is 4 times as long and far steeper. 3rd gear pinned and mandatory air! I've seen it done but can't quite seem to muster the courage.
If you are headed to Moab, Poison Spider/Golden Spike is a must do ride.

BTW, It is the Colorado river. The Green comes in later down the canyon at the confluence by Dead Horse Point.

You would be amazed at how well your knobby's hook up on that slick rock.
In away riding in Moab is a lot like sledding in the spring snow, You can walk up just about anything you can point your bike at and can end up in spots you don't want to come down.
