Idle Control Valve

Down

So I got the sled out of the shed this morning. Started up fine. Then as soon as I drove it a little bit, it would idle way high, nearly at engagement. It started flashing code 37 Called the dealer, he said the idle control valve is stuck. He said go ahead and ride it and maybe it would unstick itself after being warmed up and bounced around a bit. Well, went out and rode for 4 hrs. and it never changed. Always idled just below engagement.

What do I do now? How big of a deal is it to get at that valve? Can it be unstuck or do I need to replace it?

Thanks in advance.

I have never had code 37 before. I did have some noises coming from the valve when I would shut the sled down. Sounded like it was having trouble shutting the valve. To access the valve you will need to remove the fuel tank. The valve is between cylinder 2&3 on top of the throttle bodies if looking from clutch side. Remove the connection and there is 3 screws holding it in place. Pretty sure this is how it is, but it was a while ago that I had it apart.
