I have read in other threads that there is an Idle adjustment screw. I cannot seem to find this. can someone be descriptive as to where this adjustment is. my nytro wants to idle at about 1000 rpm with throttle cable slack. I think this is due to the 750 cc injectors (impulse).

Thanks.

"Turn the throttle stop screw in 2/3 clockwise. This is the 2.5mm allen head bolt with locking nut located on the throttle body by the throttle cable. This will turn up the idle to approx 1500 at operating temperature."

Why cant I find this ? I havent really pulled things apart, but should this allen head be easy to spot?

You need to remove your inercooler. then stand in frount of the sled look to your right down by the throttlebody its a jamnut with a flat head screwdriver tip

this is conflicting with bigred's post, is on the fuel rail, or is it near the throttle cable? is it an allen head or a flat head ? lol I really do appreciate the help guys but I am still confused. obviously if I can avoid removing the intercooler I will, but if thats what needs to be done I will remove.

You do need to remove the innercooler. I think you're right, I think it's an allenhead and jam nut. You cannot get to it without pulling the innercooler.

Thanks, I will work on this tomorrow ! I have to get ready for the 5ft of fresh that is going to fall for the bluebird day on sunday....

Why not try adjusting by fuel pressure first? What are the 02 readings at idle? Maybe adjust FP and see if idle comes up? It's alot easier than taking the in tercooler off.
