Ideas for Performance Mods

Hey guys. Since I bought my Rev completely stock, other than a HPS can, I am going to be putting some money into it. Already on the list is a new seat (undecided on brand still), XXX Mod Rods vent kit and boards, 2-wheel kit and new riser.

I am now looking into some engine mods. What are your guys thoughts on putting some money into the engine/clutching? Where should I put the money? Any and all input is appreciated. Thanks guys.

Check out Sled Head Racing. Lots of options for your HO. I'd do all the motor work you are going to do before you clutch your sled.

What year REV? What track is on it?

2007 with the Challenger Lite. I have been informed that I should be on the lookout for a new Challenger track. I have also been told that you are the man to talk to for a clutch setup for this sled, just haven't gotten around to calling you yet. Suggestions??

I also have a 2007. It started out as a Stock 144 X model. Now its a 860 twin piped 159. By far the Biggest gain I saw out of any of the mods I did was changing that stock track out for somthing that didnt trench everywhere I went.

Put a Camo Challenger (2.25 or 2.3)...that is THE single biggest improvement you can make assuming the engine runs strong and is in good condition.
Clutching, stock primary with 1mm oversize rollers and a TEAM secondary.....secondary setup will vary with track length, altitude and type of riding. Make sure clutches are in good condition.
I would keep the engine stock (just freshen it up per Big John at SHR recomendations if needed)....stock pipe and HPS silencer.
