Idaho Snow

Rode in Idaho this weekend and they are crushing us with snow depths. I've ridden down here quite a bit skiffing rocks and brushes all day. We dug trenches all day w/o hitting a thing. Lots of deep snow with some good base. p.s. turbos are bad a#@

out of soda springs - family knows it very well. incredible riding.

We would love to hook up with some peeps and ride there. My mother grew up in Grace, ID. and still has my Grandparents ranch on Gray's Lake. Where abouts out of Soda? Which direction?

Hoos your mamma....

I grew up in Grace, My dad owned the drugstore there for many years.
We grew up having to sled to school somedays in the 70's

I just got back into sledding last year.

I don't want to admit Hoos my mamma but....
My grandparents last name Taylor. My grandmothers maiden name Smith.
I remember the drugstore being called London Drug. I used to walk there all the time when my g-ma would let me. And if she wouldn't I'd just sneak there. I needed my candy fix!!

amazing when you bring something up like this you get so much info. my parents are from soda and bancroft - clarks & schenks. we ride up there a couple times a year and it's pretty insane. i'm sure all the families know each other well. it's that kind of area. i'd love to ride up there with anyone who would like.

snowrodeo: baily creek is a few miles before where you park to head up.

my uncles ride TD8s and can show us some incredible riding. anytime you want to go, let me know. they are up in those mountains 3 times a week. it's one of my favorite riding areas. p.s. osu is going to spank texas tomorrow! :D

The Schenks lived across the street from my Uncle Jaydell Jenkins on Lund Road 3 miles south of Bancroft. Small world. You probably know the Yosts also.

Lava is a pretty cool town. Im in for riding Bailey creek and sittin in the hot tubs in Lava. I used to swim there all of the time when i was young. It was a nice break from sittin in Bancroft for days doing absolutley nothing.

OK..

Your a youngster.
Greg London bought the store from My dad in mid 80's.

Sounds like old home week going on here.
And..it sounds like we all agreed on one thing...

"What do you do for fun in Grace/Bancroft/Soda.....????
LEAVE"

Cept for the sledding of course.

I toke my sled up a few times last year to ride with Irv.
College buddy and owner of Eastman Drug in Soda.
Mostly out around blackfoot reservoir, trail creek, and Tin Cup area.
Looks like we better hit up Baily Creek this year.

Not all that young.;) That is who I remember the most. They bought the house next door to my grandparents. My grandparents both taught school in Grace before I was born. I'm sure my mother knows your family.. Okay enough of this, it's time to ride the sleds.........................
