ID These Clutches

My son picked-up an old mod 800 union bay ultra sled. was done real nice problem is cant figure out howto open up the secondary to get the belt off. or how to set belt deflection. We need to set it up for 3-5k ft. Any help with weight and springs would be a great help. The secondary is some type of roller with no allen set screw like a team clutch . The primary has a heavier outer cover with bigger bearings.

The primary is just a polaris with an aftermarket cover. Thunder products sells a very similar cover. I have no clue on the secondary... Might try giving Curt at fastrax, he may know.

Looks like a 911 cover on the stock p85 primary. The secondary is also an older p85 but has somekind of a mod helix design that I havent seen. Like was said, with all the union bay mod stuff on the rest of the sled, email those pics to Curt at Fastrax/ubr and someone there will no doubt know something about that exotic secondary setup.

To remove the belt, twist the back sheave of the secondary counter clockwise while pushing towards the tunnel. Not sure what the secondary is but the outer sheave looks like the stock Polaris. What is the motor in the Ultra? Looks like a 99-03 XCR 800. What are the mods?

To spread the sheaves you thread in a bolt or team clutch tool....assuming there is a threaded hole on the outer surface.....just like a Team.

Thanks for the help. Ill try the guys at fastrax. Other mods on this thing 680 ultra kitted by Union bay to 800. Dropped and rolled chaincase, could be a tyson tunnel, northern lites trailing arms,handle bars. All the bolts are titanium. EGTs . Has all the best mods of the day should still be a.good climber once we get it dialed in.
